I am a professional acrobat and roller skater, I skate nearly every day and I am in love with my Team Rollerbones 98A wheels. I searched for a long time for a wheel that was versatile enough to be used for all indoor purposes, from rink skating to performing onstage. They were recommended to me by a close friend and now I tell everyone about them. They're perfect for my style of skating, which is a combination of basically everything you can do on a flat surface. Figure skating, jam skating, JB, footwork, spins, jumps, breakdance... it's all smooth on the Team Rollerbones 98A.

I grew up speed skating on Red devils,
Blue spruce, and Labedas. Always looking for faster experience, A vendor, Derby Smack, at the 2013 WFTDA Championships in Atlanta, Ga. Introduced me to the RollerBones Turbos, the 101a, fastest wheel on the floor, unless RollerBones ever comes out with a harder wheel, which was rumored to be in the making back then, Still the fastest wheels!

— Charlie “Saint Atarium” Burris, Derby Ref

I rode my Rollerbones wheels at Div 1 Playoffs all weekend! The Turbos offer a smooth stable ride while being lightweight for quick maneuvering. My 92's were optimal early on in the tourney, and when the cement got super slick, I put on my 80's for that much needed grip. I trust my Turbos to do their job on the track, so I just lace up and do mine.

I purchased a set of 101A Turbos and ran them with Bones Swiss Ceramics. The wheels were a little too slippery for the rink I skate at so I purchased another set in 97A hardness. This set up was perfect. These are the best wheels I have ever skated on! They grip like nothing I have ever experienced with no sacrifice to the speed. I also recommend running Bones best Swiss Ceramics with them and you will be amazed at the performance of the two together. I must say I fully support these products and highly recommend them and no I am not in anyway affiliated with RB (wish I was). I am just an experienced skater that loves quality products as there are so few out there today and you definitely get what you pay for. My entire family skates so I am currently changing all wheels and bearings to RB's. My set up - Antik AR1 boots, Sure grip DA45 Avenger magnesium plates, Rollerbones Turbos 97A and Bones Swiss Ceramics.

Thank you Isaac for your help with the purchase of my products.

Happy skating!

Regards,
Greg

After being part of the derby community for the past 8 years, I've tried a lot of different wheels and thought that I was never going to find something better than Atom Lowboys and Poisons. I'm happy to say that Rollerbone Turbos proved me wrong. This season I have skated on the 92A's and have yet to change them for any surface, whether it be a wood floor, sport court, or concrete. I absolutely love them and am happy I made the decision to try them out.

Rollerbones, you guys are easily my favourite company when it come to roller derby! After having had Bones Reds bearings since I started derby, I decided to try your Day of the Dead wheels - which are amazing quality for the low price! I then moved on to Turbos and I am in love.
The Turbos are so nice to skate on; great quality urethane with a good balance of just enough grip without giving up on speed. Love them. Plus, they are so preeeetty!
I just wanted to say thanks, keep up the good work!

— Kirsty “Fu” Quinn, Wakey Wheeled Cats

Wile Skating fast I did a 15 foot long hockey stop on my 97a turbos and put down some urethane you could see the white marks plane as day. So I checked my wheels and no flat spots. Haven't see a wheel that will hold up to that In a long time.

— Derred “Dredd” Scheperle, COMO DERBY DAMES

My Turbos' are fast as s(*&!!! Trust me..

The turbo 80a's are perfect for our outdoor speed skating oval. It's textured concrete like a sidewalk with no cracks and the 80 is soft enough to roll smooth but the big hub keeps it stiff enough to feel great. I can't wait to give the 85's a run out there.

When I transferred to the Bay Area Derby Girls, I could not find a wheel that worked on our sport court which was very different than the one I had started on. Needless to say, I tried a lot of different wheels. With each wheel, I continued having the same result: all slide, no grip and little response. Obviously, not what I was use to. I ended up talking to an astrophysicist friend of all people, regarding this issue, and he mentioned the RollerBones Turbos. He even provided me with a very technical breakdown why the Turbos were the best wheels in his opinion, and why I should give them a shot. Well, I ended up purchasing a set of the Turbos that day and haven't looked back! It is by far the best wheel available, period. It grips when it needs to, gives when it should and responds to your every movement effortlessly rather than that effort being lost through unnecessary material. Few wheels can actually improve your game, these though, these are one of them!

I was given a set of Turbo's at the Big O Tournament after my second game. I was having a few issues on my old wheels slipping out of the corners. Changing onto the Turbo 88's was the best thing I could have done. With the width incresae on these wheels it gave me more grip into and out of the corner's giving me the option of Maintaining my full speed at all times. Saved alot of energy physically.

If you want Speed, Grip and constant security on your feet these are the wheels you need.

Thank you for these wheels. :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE those Rollerbone Turbos !!!
But could you please make them in RED RED RED ? They are the ONLY wheels I carry in my bag now. I have the 88A, 92A and 97A so I'm always ready for any floor conditions I encounter. The 97A is my favorite though (smile).
But really......PLEASE add RED to the color options for the Turbos.

I recently bought a set of Rollerbones Turbo 92a's from Nerd Skates in Calgary and I am impressed with the quality and speed I get of your wheels.

Over the summer I had been skating on Sure Grip Interceptor V's but had issues pushing off when skating on mixed surfaces. As a Roller Derby referee I visit different Arenas and Roller Rinks around North America and you don't have the same surface at every event.

So far with my Rollerbones I have skated on Rink Wood, Basketball Gym floors, Polished Concrete, Unfinished Concrete, Rubberized Ball Hockey Floors and have been pleased with the control and speed.

I LOVE the Rollerbones Turbos. They are the first wheel I've skated on that really grip and roll on any skating surface. Between RollerCon, ECDX, Regionals, Championships, and roller rinks, I've bouted in my 92a Turbos without ever having to swap out wheels. And even with all the hard stopping I do on grating skate court floor, they haven't chipped! The ability to travel anywhere and know your wheels will respond how you want them to is invaluable. They're simply the best and most reliable wheel I've ever skated in.

First, let me say THANK YOU for the absolutely spectacular Turbo wheels. I bought my first pair last Saturday from Sandy at Cruz Skate Shop in San Francisco (62x37x88a) and had a Cheshire Cat grin all night long at Redwood City Rink. All I've ever skated were outdoor wheels (currently running Radar Pure 66x38x78a) and had no idea what I'd been missing indoors. Which now leads to ask, would you recommend the Turbo 62x37x80 for smooth outdoor asphalt? We have a beautiful dedicated outdoor rink in Golden Gate Park, which is very smooth (unlike street asphalt). Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

— Ralph

Coming from a speed skating background, I was very picky about my wheels. I always brought multiple sets of different hardnesses so I could get just the right balance of grip and roll for the surface. This made for a very heavy skate bag! Then I found the Rollerbones Turbos. Now, I only need to bring one set of wheels: the 88a Turbos! They grip on every skating surface, and still maintain the roll that you need! What more could you ask for?!

Just wanted to drop you guys a line and tell you of my experience with the turbo wheels. It really could be summed up in one word. AMAZING! I am a shuffle/jam skater and have owned just about every wheel available on the market. Wicked lips, Cannibals, Dubz, Power Plus's, Interceptor v drives, Backspins, Radars, Shahmans, Labeda Classics. everything. from the moment i got my turbos early in the year i was impressed. i mounted them on and was instantly amazed! they slide when i want them to, grip when i need them to, and are hands down the best wheel i have ever rolled! i liked them so much, the minute i got home from the rink i ordered a lunchbox just to have a spare set. thank you for making the best wheel on the planet turbo 97a!
